Sudden Hair Loss
Updated: Apr 21
"It was like one day my shower and sink were covered in hair."
I hear this so many times when talking to clients about their hair loss. It is more common today than it was 2 years ago. This type of hair loss is very traumatic & could come out of the blue.
This type of hair loss is called Telogen Effluvium or TE. This is a temporary hair loss that can last up to 6 months. (Read blog on TE)
The first thing to do is to not panic. (Easier said than done, right?)
The second thing to do is to find the cause.
The third thing is to eliminate the cause. For example, if your cause was surgery, life saving medication or post partum hair loss we will have to take a slightly different approach. If your cause is from stress, smoking or malnutrition than these are things that can be changed. This will remove the trigger for good.
If you think the cause is from Low Iron, Vitamin D, Hormones, Thyroid or GI issues than it is time to make an appointment with your Dr. for some blood tests.
I have been through TE myself and I know how it feels. I have helped 100s of people with getting their hair back. I have an almost 2 hour mini-course that will go over all the information you need to get your hair back. And the best part is you pay what you want to pay for the course. Yep! You read that right.
